Zutara Week: Mythology

Theme: Mythology

I went with the Disney's Hercules because of the dopey love story in there. Cheesy but cute. I love that movie. Especially the song "I Won't Say (I'm In Love)." If there was ever an Avatar musical (lol, omg), Katara would be singing that song and Toph can be backing her up. You can listen to it here and imagine yourself: [link]

I find it really weird that Zuko has such a dopey face in this piece and the way he's smiling seems out of character. I guess wearing the headband is getting to him.

Originally for the mythology theme I was going to go with the old 90's show of "Hercules - The Legendary Journey" and "Xena - Warrior Princess" like a friend suggested. Would've been cool to have Katara as Xena but I felt pressed on time and went with what I had here. I based the piece from here: [link]

I'm kind of late on this theme but seems like everyone is a little late on at least one piece for Zutara Week. I wanted to play around with the background and work on some shadow play. It's all cool. I got it done at least. On to the next theme!
